Banished is a fun, social and pretty fresh high ranked PvP/RP server run by groups of players that have known each other from previous servers/games. The idea is to maintain a fun, social community with different factions and/or groups that battle each other, trade, casual roleplay and do events together. As of 9/3/2015 we have a number of highly active, friendly and social groups working on their settlements, looking for more members or even for new groups and factions!

6. INFINITY PILE are allowed, even recommended as mining is forbidden to maintain the server's high performance and to maintain the landscape. Mining will be put to 100 by an admin to compensate for the skill.

8. A fun, casual RP experience when interacting. (Keep this in mind if you are PvP minded, light-casual RP is a recommended / appreciated part to enhance the game experience and bring the theme/background come to life.)

Skillcap; Technically it is 1660, but this is as prospecting is given to 60 and mining to 100, therefore its really 1500.
Server rules:
1. What is not realistically possible in real life, is not possible in-game:
- Glitching/respawning through or on top of walls, gates and doors is strictly forbidden.
- Logs do not “float” (rules of gravity apply).
- Logs do not mysteriously insert themselves into structures to bare weight.
- Solid objects (eg. chests) do not pass through other solid objects.
- Combat logging; logging off to escape combat is not allowed.
2. Do not use known exploits even if the is not a specific rule against it
- If the is a generally known exploit and it is considered to be an exploit do not use it.
3. No claiming of other people’s buildings and structures;
- If you did not (help) built it, it is not yours to claim.
- You are only allowed to claim someone else’s building after permission and contacting the Admin or a GM.
- If a building has been unclaimed for a longer period (the owner might have quit) discuss possible claiming with the Admin or a GM. (Loot is never given.)
4. No tunneling:
- On this server we are going to great lengths to make sure that you do not need to tunnel. This is to preserve a proper landscape and to reduce server lag.

5. Use common sense when undertaking projects and buildings and make sure to be friendly and treat others like you wish to be treated by others in an OOC environment.
- ZERO tolerance for trolling. “Don’t be a dick.”
- ZERO tolerance for griefing
6. Removing Stumps & Uprooting;
- It is the responsibility of the person who cuts down the tree to uproot it, to this end we have a 2 second uproot timer so it is nice and quick
7. Do not repeatedly kill players who are not preventing you from your raid;
- Basically repeatedly killing a player who is not attacking you or getting in the way of your actions is greifing as your only forcing them to loose skill points.
- The player should either avoid combat or stand still/passive to indicate his lack of intent
8. Raiding is only allowed in a FULL ARMOR SET
- It will make it somewhat easier for the defenceless peasant to run away.
- Also makes the raider put items on the line to do the raiding.
- You can alway's defend ur self when naked inside ur own claim.
Additions and Revisions will be made if players exploit or find loopholes
Modifications to the server and additional information;
- We have a 2 second uproot timer so the is no excuse not to uproot
- We have removed all low Q trees (<10) (which also gives a nice fast load time)
- We have a daily restart (@ 4.00am UTC)
- Gold, Silver, Copper & Iron ore sacrifical values lowered to equal rock (as this is provided not mined)
- Once per day (RL) increase of guild claims @ server restart
- Move out cooldown increased to 180s & flee decreased to 120s, preventing "move out" spam. Move out & flee share cooldown timer. - Move out puts rest of orders on cooldown for 30s (duration)
