MOD Request (Convert terrain blocks to clay/granite)

Resource converter

Takes resources in a defined block & converts it to another resource

IE. Soil --> Clay
IE. Rock --> Granite

Is such a thing possible?

Sure - the idea came from this thread:
regrow-grass-t13185/

Because its possible to convert fertile soil back into grass.

So I was wondering if those can be converted into other key resources like Granite / Clay around the map.

Obviously you can't just convert ALL the soil into this stuff, there needs to be a way to contain a certain radius / area & depth to turn into this stuff.

I was thinking you could place down 4 unique buildings and grab the GeoID from the buildings & define the border for the resource conversion that way

I am not quite exactly sure how the GeoDataID is calculated but there is the geo_patch table in which the TerID can be modified once you have the GeoDataID range

It'll probably add more loading time but with the next patch coming soon & it being the world loading optimizations patch it should be ok
