Suggesting THIS to reduce crashes/lagg.

Post by DaSP » 31 May 2015, 20:04

Hello,

I am DaSP, owner of FryslanBoppe Dedicated Server. We do have around 40~50 active players every day. Especially in the evening. Once this many active players are online the server might lagg sometimes. I am sure you can do a lot about it.

We are wondering when the Decay patch will be launched.

We have 16 GB of RAM and 200up/200down. Somehow we still do have spikelaggs.

I suggest;
- Release Decay patch (or a MOD command to refill a mine)
- People should not be able to use infintepiles (once decay is released)
- Clay areas should be refilling automatically in time
- Clients do crash to many times. Please solve this issue. (Runtime error etc.)
- Trebuchet is overpowered (or walls/keeps/gates etc. are underpowered :))

Related to horses:
- I suggest to make a game bugless free instead of creating new features. But that's my opinion :)

Hope to hear soon from you.

Best regards,
DaSP

Hopefully dev's will read this , after patch a few weeks ago , extremely hard to play , game lockup or player freeze , watch people run around me , was a 733 millisecond latency when i log in , a few players contact me in Steam , ask about lag , freezing up , seems people close to server or private server have no problem , i read a lot here , changed draw distance , still the same , or worse after each patch . In game people complain if their latency is 15 milliseconds , lol . Same stuff lost a major game after release almost half of its players - archeage . There was around 8 to 10 people on a server i play on , when pop gets higher , seems worse , idk how will be when bigger map and lots more people . This is a Nice game , some servers , rp and some pvp , new concepts , maybe a few things overkill like amount of iron bars to make one strap , or lighting so poor to cause eyestrain ...... seriously , dark ages doesnt mean dark days ....

Exactly PolarIce.

Actually it is frustrated for both players and me administrator.

As administrator it is a fulltime job to keep the server clean and help people out on bugged issues.

The players just want to play without troubles.

That is why I think you should FIRST fix issues, later release new features.

Best regards.
