I started the new version.
I turned down EVERYTHING to the lowest possible.
It looks much, much worse than the old vesion.

And it still isn't fluid.
What a piece of crap.

Have you been playing DX9/Prerelease of DX11 and then updated the game to 1.0?

DX 9, I try reinstalling, I'll check back.
Either with an apology, or new anger, depending on the result

Sooo...

I removed the old files via "delete local data"
I deleted the folder itself manually
I reinstalled
I even did a complete restart for full avaiable performance.

Nothing changed.
The performance is still not playworthy. Even on everything lowest.
And then it still looks worse than before.

I have to say though, even when turning most things quite a bit up (besides shadows - its always shadows...), the performance is not really much worse. Noticeable, but not much.

You know how it looks with all things turned down, but I have to give a comparison, thats really important in my eyes:
It looks worse than the first Mount & Blade.

And with that getting this performance... is just unacceptable.
Testing?


P.S.
Just to add:
-) The new logs look really, really, REALLY bad, even with everything in quality turned up. Has someone looked at them? (Triangle with its tips cut off?)

-) Anisotropic Filitering couldn't be turned off. It always would be on again when entering the menu.

Thanks for reporting. We are working on a hotfix, so hopefully things will get better soon.
