Issues with stuttering

Post by Krillle3 » 05 Mar 2016, 13:01

Hi! im having some issues with stuttering in game. When first logging in i get some major stuttering and can barely move for half a minute. After that has settled, which is understandable as its loading the area. I can move forward and it randomly stutters about every 5 to 10 seconds, mostly when looking around to the sides. I have tried to install the game on both my HDD and my SSD, and the problem persists. I have tried lowering all the settings to minimum, makes some difference, but still the stutter is there.

My specs are:
Msi gtx 770.
Intel core 4790k
Kingston SSD
Works great with most any game. Low fps is not my issue, it's around 30-60 mostly when on high settings.

Any help is appreciated.

1) goto C:/steamlibrary/steamapps/common/life is feudal/scripts/client

2) using nowtepad or wordpad open the file called cm_environment.cs

3) press ctrl+f and search for "visibledistance" edit the value to 4000 or lower

There are some windemitter settings in this file as well but I haven't played with them yet. Maybe try turning it off.

There's also alot of video setings in life is feudal/data/prefs.cs but the visible distance setting I just mentioned can only be edited in the file.

Thanks for your answer. It did however not work for me, the stuttering is still there.

I did even reinstall my gpu drivers, still the same stutter. Odd. Seems like a really cool game otherwise but when i cannot move around like i should, its really hard to play. thanks for your help anyway.

I have been seeing that my video memory is almost at its peak and sometimes above. I've even gotten the running out of video memory crash. Could it be this that causes my stuttering and fps drops as I've been seeing the fps drop when it stutter? Thanks in advance :-)
