Did you make sure that your firewall/antivirus is not blocking your game?

yes! worked on friday but not today

If you were able to connect to servers after the patch and can't now, then there is a chance there is some connection issue on your side.

I am having a similar issue. It takes 3 to 4 tries before I am able to finally log in.

I had similar issues in the past with specific hosted companies server, with others I did not. Timeout usually indicates that you did not get a response within an established amount of time. I boiled it down that perhaps their servers ran out of threads thus your request sits idly waiting for it's turn.

I actually ran into this issue a while back. I'd been having no problems, but then my anti-virus decided it needed to block me connecting to LiF servers.

Give it a check, just in case! I know somebody else noted it, but mine was just something that came unexpectedly to me... so it's always worth another look.
