Hello,

Yesterday we had a awesome training session with our lancers.
They are really god damn powerful, but the problem is, that they even do easily 100 dmg when they stand nearly still (just started to walk with horse after thrown down).
The damage of the lance should be speed related(of cuz with high damage)

Right now u alwys hit for 5-8 speed and its about 90-110 damage, less if like plate against normal lance.

If it would be like o,8-1,1 damage per speed and when they ride and hit u full speed it would be like 100 speed, i guess this would work. If they slow down, they hit u with less, if they hit with full speed, they hit hard as usual(i mean they nearly one hit, maximum 2 hit needed))

I've only seen a lance go up to like 60 piercing for a headshot against tier 2 chainmail of matching quality while in combat stance, but if you are talking about naked, you have to consider that broad axes can hit for over 100 slashing against nakeds as well.

But the damage does seem to not be speed related for lances as much as it should be, seeing as you can still do almost as much damage as a stand still as when you are going full speed. Same issue with the pikes not getting speed bonus from enemy speed and getting it from wiggling.

I worn chainmail and when they hit me, they do atleast 70 dmg.
But anyway - the problem is not the damage, (u can block it and evade it and eveything, when there are multiple lancers.. ye... fuck >D ) the problem is that they do full damage even when standing still.

If it will be speed calculated, it would make much more sense and would be more balanced.

Were you in combat stance? Were the lancers with normal stats instead of GM set ones?

Other then that the lance speed was long ago suugested, but it seems that's hard to implement, so we'll have to live with this one. Lancers have 1 horse now at least instead of unlimited amount where they just run away and reset it.
