Therinfal

Therinfal is an international online gaming community. Our aim is to create an atmosphere of enjoyable gaming. We are a friendly, team-focused group that encourages people to work together, build friendships and share in good gaming experiences. By working together we hope to help people realise their goals and maximise the fun.


We are currently focusing on preparing for the MMO, and are recruiting too build a solid core member base.

Our long term aim is to build a guild with a good community spirit and be ranked as one of the most efficient pvp groups in the game.

About Us

-> We are part of a kingdom project with 5+ guilds
-> We have been actively playing together for over a year.
-> We are an international guild and as such have members from all over the world.
-> We use Teamspeak 3 for communication, (English) See the Server & Contact information section for more.

Requirements

-> Team Work, sense of community.
-> Teamspeak 3.
-> PvP+PVE player, PVE players,
-> Some in game experience. Or a friend that is prepared to teach you.
-> 18+
-> Active , no casuals.

Who we are looking for
We are currently looking for 3 types of people

Heavy Pvp: What we are looking for here are people who enjoy doing a lot of the pvp elements of the game.
We expect you to be able to come out on top in every type of combat situation even whilst outnumbered.
The PvE elements of the game are still necessary but the emphasis is focused on laboring tasks and instructing newer members in the combat mechanics.

PvP/PvE: Standard game play. Players here are expected too perform both PvP and PvE tasks. The majority of our current members fulfill this role.

PvE/PvP/RP: We are currently working on creating a system for people who prefer to RP the game and maintain some autonomy but wish too have the protection of a guild when doing so. This will be updated over time.

Therinfal Mission Statement and Rules


Mission Statement

Therinfal is an international online gaming community. Our aim is to create an atmosphere of enjoyable gaming. We are a friendly, team-focused group that encourages people to work together, build friendships and share in good gaming experiences. By working together we hope to help people realise their goals and maximise the fun.

Core Rules

• The guild aims to maintain an honourable reputation at all times, all members should actively seek to maintain this good standing. Your actions will at times be representative of the entire guild. Be respectful to all players, no matter their rank, no matter their diplomatic stance; members, ally or foe. No excessive swearing or screeching in ts is allowed.
  
  
• We recruit People not Characters. We do not accept ‘characters’ for a particular set of skills or casuals who have no interest in contributing to the community of the guild; We look for good people who fit our mindset and values.
  
  
• Members of Therinfal cannot be a member of another guild in any game that we play together. We are trying to build a core group of members and such behaviour can distract from this.Membership of other guilds in games we do not play is permitted, with a few exceptions, eg joining a guild that cheats/exploits will ensure you get kicked.
  
  
• Communicating information outside the guild, for any reason, at any time is not permitted. No member should share information to people outside the guild no matter how minor it is thought to be. Inter-guild communication will be conducted through the appropriate channels.
  
  
• Teamspeak3 is required. Communication between all members is key. Anyone found not using teamspeak whilst playing a guild game will be removed.
  
  
• Participate in Guild events. Events and other in game activities occur all the time. You are expected to take part in as many of them as possible. People have lives and cannot be online all the time, but if you are online and there is an event you need to be their and participating. Guild meetings are compulsory.
  
  
• Leadership Roles are given based on demonstrated ability. Leaders have been put in that position to make the game more enjoyable for you. There are times when authority needs to be accepted, please do not reject orders just because you don't like them. Orders can be discussed but not flatly denied. If you have problems with someone in a leadership position don't be afraid to speak up, but do so maturely.
  
  
• We are a Team of Friends, backing up your guildmates is expected as they will do the same for you. Helping out your friends is more important than saving your ‘character’ or acquiring the ‘loot’.
  
  
• Inactivity is not needed in the guild. Failure to maintain an acceptable level of activity will result in your removal. Simply vanishing off the face of the earth without any communication indicates that you have quit the guild.
  
  
• Members who cannot follow core rules and standards, are removed from the guild.

Standards Of Conduct

These standards go hand in hand with our core guild rules but they bear repeating so all future members understand what we expect from members. Those standards of conduct include, but are not limited to:


• Members may not use cheats or exploits
  
  
• Members may not PK other guild members. Consensual pvp is permitted and to an extent encouraged within the guild.
  
  
• Upholding of all guild values and rules is required of all members. There are no exceptions whether you have been a member for 7 days or 7 years. All members must maintain the values of the guild.
  
  
• Members need to behave in a mature, professional, team focused manner. Self focused, loot focused, immature people will not be tolerated
  
  
• Make friends in the guild. At our core we are a Team Of Friends. So make friends. Those friendships make us strong.
  
  
• Personal attacks on other members are not permitted. Disputes should be handled maturely. Seek an officer's help if needed but do not personally attack other members.

Make lotta friends , despite being a game, this game cultivate relationships pretty good due to the active amount of team effort is needed to keep a guild going. For Ingame, i like to bring and do diplomacy and talk to people, i find that fun.

Because I have a couple of friends within Therinfal and I enjoy gaming with them. I have taken a break from LIF and am basically restarting after a short hiatus with no fealty to any server or group. I got sick of leading after my last experience so I'm in a good position to join this group.

I want to successfully create a "hub game" instead of a game I casually play. To realistically become a warlord engaged in raiding parties.

I also play in the U.S. and from my conversation with igna your U.S. members are low and from my experience in games like these you need an even player base at all times of the day to keep your assets properly defended and to make it more enjoyable for all. Lastly i really like to help out and put in more than i take.
