Guildion you reasonable start to this thread and good points that you made initially have simply been overshadowed by your attitude. Great way to derail your own thread bro!

Seriously, how about we remove your head from your ass and actually focus on the points made in the OP. There are some actual good points there...

I've seen good points and bad points stated in this thread. Then it turned into a "I'm better than you." thread. So please everyone try to keep it civil.

Now towards the OP's points. I agreed with some of the points. Most of your points are in fact gameplay mechanics that possibly are just placeholders for now. It's possibly not the devs main priority to make the game the most enjoyable right now, and work out the major bugs such as the ever looming "The mutex must be locked" crash, or the infinite ore from terraforming bug that I myself am trying to re-create to report unless someone does it first.

all the points on PVP are justified, because lets face it, it's no Chivalry combat, but again more than likely not the main priority since a lot of the combat mechanics aren't even in the game yet. I must say that once you actually get a weapon that works better than a primitive knife (pitchfork for instance) it starts opening up the sheer possibility of pvp. (Actually using the pitchfork as a thrusting weapon does piercing where any other type of attack is blunt damage.)

The main reason of this post is to really just say all "constructive" criticism is good for development, but when you try to defend your criticism incorrectly it hinders any development.

So please by all means keep the "constructive" criticism going, but lets just keep it civil. 8-)

This quote is just hilarious to me. The game is in early alpha and the dev team has already shown that they are commited to the game by releasing 2-3 patches within 2 weeks which has improved the game alot already. Yet you say you "highly doubt" they will provide any large patches to the game. Are you kidding me?!

Having read the first page, but not the rest of this thread, I couldn't agree more.

The game is not "broken" and anyway, isn't that what an "alpha" build is after all?

I agree with the fundamental point of 90% of the OPs suggestions for the game's future developmenet. But I do not agree with his condescending, patronizing, hostile and dismissive tone. I hope that devs will not disregard the substance of the points made because of that tone, because for me, there is virtually nothing the OP said which I substantively disagree with.
