Hey everyone, basically I was just wondering if, for example, Royal Fullplate has any statistical advantages over Veteran Fullplate or if its just a reskin of the same armor. If you have confirmation on this I would love to know. Thanks!

Wow, just realized that. Would be nice if they did make a difference, even if it was just a very slight one.

Honestly I'm glad that they don't provide a further boost, as it's keeping with the trend that the developers have been putting forth that level 100 in a skill only gives a cosmetic/bragging boost for the most part. With weapons you get your trick moves, and with armor you get your fancy gear. Besides I personally would much rather only see a small group of people capable of wearing royal armor in the first place, entire armies should not be equipped with it.

as the ten last levels are the tougher levels, it's normal to see it as a cosmetic reward only s

people would all get these levels and only grind for... that's not a good reason for an exeptionnal state or prestigious one s

Yep! If you want to show off the wealth, power, prestige of your group you have the important people wearing the best shiny stuff! In fact, ceremonial pieces like that were often less effective... because they were made with different criteria (looks rather than protection.)

I think having them have the armor of the 90 level armors, but the difference in looks, is a fine balancing point between QoL in game and realism.

That actually comes as a relief to me. I don't like how many of the royal sets look.
