So i decided to see whats new in game
i presed play on steam and nothing happend

First I would reccommend redownloading the game

i alredy had this problem adn i cant remember howi solved it, i entered game every now and than but last time was about month ago, reinstaling dont help , i press play on steam it says running and just stops.

Also having this problem. I made a new post explaing my dificulties cause i didnt see this one before. It looks to be some problem with the++C files. Some people had it b4 but i couldnt really solve it. I think it was the update cause my game was working fine b4. Most answers tell you to redownload the files but it hasnt worked for me.

I also had the issue with my game not starting the new patch didnt install the c++ files correctly which is a problem with steam more so than the game. Go to microsoft and get the 2015 version of visual studio after you install it find copy and paste msvcp120 msvcp140 msvcr 120 and msvcr140 into your main game folder and try your game again. good luck

My problem is that i cant find those mscvp 120 and 140 files nor the mscvr files. I found out that they were related to the microsoft visual c++ files by researching the web but was unable to find it in my pc or somehow acquire it redownloading the 2015 version. I hv tried the other versions as well. I kept researching the web and then the ,dll error became other error and then it became another and so on... i dont even quite remember the steps i took. I also had set failures after trying to rapair the c++ files in the game folder.

DLL files should be located under 'C:\Windows\System32\' (32-bit) and in 'C:\Windows\SysWOW64\' (64-bit)
You need to install 32-bit redistributable packages for your 64-bit Windows, because LiF:YO is (atm) a 32-bit application.

I was installing both of them but thx for the heads up. In my case only the 64 bits r installed in the vcredist folder under life is feudal.
