Post by Insane » 27 Sep 2014, 11:59

Hi there,

my server is crashing after 15 minutes or less..
up to 64 players

RAM increases around 5Mb/sec sometimes (or MORE)

- Pagefiles is increased like in this tut (tentitive-fix-for-server-crashing-t2264/)

Why can I do?!

And server log would be nice also.

The problems seems to appearwith the connect-disconnect of a player.
Each connect->disconnect needs around 50-100mb of memory..

Yeah this is consistent with what I have observed and reported in the following bug case:
https://lifeisfeudal.com/mantis/view.ph ... 3#bugnotes

I can confirm this was happening prior to this patch, however.

Looks like only those players who got their game updated have the problems to connect now. Players with older version of the game (older client) can connect and play. Hopefully they will fix this soon...

we're having the same problem,
Code: Select all
WARN 2014-09-27 14:22:39.017 {00} <NOSCOPE> TCP: Sending NetEvent 'CmPatchEvent' over 'ch_498'(11188)
ECHO 2014-09-27 14:22:39.019 {00} <NOSCOPE> Player 498 detached terrain 443
WARN 2014-09-27 14:22:39.019 {00} <NOSCOPE> TCP: Got TCPNetEvent 'YoPatchTerrainAttachEvent' via tcp 'ch_498'(11188)
HACK 2014-09-27 14:22:39.020 {00} <NOSCOPE> CmChangeStore::_checkClientPatchCompleted() SEND PATCH -- TerID = 445 | ID = 498

loops when players have the "waiting for server" text in their loading screen, the longer they load the more ram it uses.

this needs a fix asap, pretty much makes the game unplayable on the dedicated servers
