That is the message I get when I try and add anything to the racks, no matter their status.

Still bugged for our server, our Hoster is Bluefangsolutions. I tried restarting the server manually but nothing changed, the mysql database however is running since 5 days straight. I can't restart it cause i got no admin access to it.

Same here, might it just be a bluefang issue?

Our server has the new features like the player list and updated icons, but I get an internal error has occurred when placing hides. The racks will consume the hide, the hide just disappears.

I was being accused of cheating on my server by having leahter. Was working fine for about the first IG week, then the server crashed and ever since nobody on the server could harvest from the racks.

Glad I'm not the only one it worked for.

Ok, our server admins contacted the provider and it was the patch wasn't applied correctly. I am guessing they fixed it because we had a restart and once we got back in I was able to put hides on the frame.

Happy Leather making everyone!

If you are still having issues with your drying frames please submit a ticket at http://www.bluefangsolutions.com/submit-ticket if you are one of our clients and we can apply the SQL fix for you and reboot the server. :)

When we report the bug on mantis bug tracker Bobik says "A proper patching of servers fixes that issue and that is approved. " but when our server admin sends a ticket as you ask, you guys from bluefang say that it's no yours to fix. So please tell me, what are we supposed to do... ?

If your gameserver is running with an own database where the user is not root you need to remove all the DEFINER=root@localhost from the patch.sql file.

After a server restart it should work.

Code: Select all
sed -i "s/DEFINER=\`root\`@\`localhost\`//g" sql/patch.sql

Does it simply fixes the bug or it resets everything ?

EDIT : Thing is our server is hosted by bluefangsolution, so I don't think we can edit anything on the DB...

EDIT2 : is this solution for dedicated or hosted server from bluefang ?

In other words, just make a support ticket and they'll fix the database of your server.

I know, but if you read what I said 2 posts ago, on the forum they say "send us a ticket", when we send the ticket they answer "it's not our problem". See the dead end... ?

Send them a link to this thread, more importantly to the BlueFang member's post.
They most not have understood the issue.

If there really isn't anything BlueFang can do, it may be anouther issue but I doubt it.

As far as I understand from the posts in this thread. The whole issue presist because there wasn't root access to the database when installing the patch, which caused the patch to not be installed correctly.

As said here: http://lifeisfeudal.com/forum/drying-frame-bug-t2455/page50/#p28070

I am guessing the BlueFang tech support person that read your first ticket was just not informed about how to fix this issue at the time.

I too am no having this bug on a dedicated server that my friend is hosting. The error I can duplicate is by trying to use the Drying Frame with any type or amount of hide. It will go through a progress bar then shoot out:

You can't place that there. The container is too small.
"Internal Error. Something is wrong..."

I read Tyrola's helpful post and sent it onward to my friend, is this all that is needed or do we need to ask him to do more? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

This shouldn't be a problem anymore since 0.2.1.0 according to this:
https://lifeisfeudal.com/mantis/view.php?id=1081

If you really are still having problems, then post here:
https://lifeisfeudal.com/mantis/view.php?id=1096
Or make a new bug report.
