Our server is up and running. One of the features we have that is unique to our server is a random loot generator.
Why?
Currently with guild claims it is fairly easy to protect your stfff from getting taken if you are killed by raiders. The solution of 'judgement hour' doesn't really work because then *everything* is vulnerable. Our loot generator bridges this divide by rewarding raiders with some loot, but also protecting most of your assets.
The way it works is on the generation of a grave stone a randomly generated item is created and placed there. The loot comes from a specially designed custom table, and the quality is randomly determined as well.
There are some restrictions to prevent abuse. Such as if you are in the same guild no loot gets generated. There is also a 'cooldown' so loot isn't generated for killing a player multiple times. Getting killed by animals doesn't generate loot either.
