Have been playing the game for about 5 days now with no issues. Tried logging in today and got this http://prntscr.com/eevhzn Uninstalled the game and reinstalled it cause there was a patch today and I'm still getting that same error once I downloaded it and try to play.

First suggestion - Run the game as administrator.

Nope , no luck doing that

Delete file 'version' in root game folder. This error is probably appearing because a client is downloading a full client and not a patch.

Have also Problems now.

Bought a brand new Computer, so no old Version of LiF is existing on it.
Downloaded the Client...it starts.
When unpacking, i got the above error. So i tried some workarounds, like discribed in the Forums.
Now, when the launcher is unpacking, it suddenly closes without any error message.

The "launcher.exe" is in my Firewall. Started as admin also....nothing helps. It rly sucks, that not even the launcher is able to work correct.

Since it says temp in the error, I have to ask if you're installing everything into a pathway/file that you've made, or just letting the installer run everything itself?

If I remember right, the installer wants to put everything into a temp folder which leads to things not installing correctly. You need to put in your own LifeisFeudal folder you want things installed into.

I made a new Folder on my second drive D:\Life is Feudal MMO and of course said the installer, to install there.

Edit.
The file is located in D:\Life is Feudal MMO\tmp
So, this should be correct and is nothing i have influence on....right ?

I installed everything onto a second drive as well, but mine is just inside a folder called Life is Feudal MMO. No additional /tmp or anything of that nature. I'm not sure where that came from either. Does the launcher seem to be working properly now?

Problem still exists.
The tmp folder is in Addition to several other Folders in the Lif Folder. The game Folder is also there.

Ok...solved the Problem.

My virusscanner (360 Total Security) blocks all "temp" Folders automatically. Disable of the program helped. After Installation i enabled it again and everything still works fine

Ok....you can open the Servers now...i am ready :P
