Post by Protunia » 13 Mar 2014, 13:38

These are as I was running out of town far far into the woods over hills and through more forests to find rock somewhere. ( not in any order )

Will keep posting different area's under this as i see them and get a SS.

Zone 33 below couple of ss's nice server.

I did manage to find a Sweet semi mountain hill though waaay out there! 8-)

Last Zone I hit was 39 and it was nice like 33 no lad with spectacular views! and Snow! :D

Uploading them on some screenshots host would work better. Unfortunately, our forum is not that good with hosting screenshots properly to resize them and so on.

Environment looks so much better now compared to the old kickstarter trailer.

Awesome screenshots! How long did it take to reach the furthest point you travelled?

Hey thanks,

You can get through a server cluster (there are 49 ) in about an hour depends on whats there.

Some of those it took a couple of tests to finally get there. Then After I reached about 27 I got warped back to the main city during a reset to 25.

Those last couple of picture of 33 I managed to get to as I was on Today in about 90 mins or so with some lag before I crossed onto 33.

With No lag you can reach both of those places in about an hour or so I would say.

Swimming is no stam drain atm so travelling that way is much faster than over land.

FOR NOW

hehehe

You know at some point swimming will drain stamina, but it is awesome how big the world is to explore.

Ven,

its hard to understand the scale without being in it and running along.

http://lifeisfeudal.com/storage/mapserversborders.jpg

on that map, the central city is in square 25. It probably takes about 60 min to cross a tile on foot, and you do not feel like you are moving slowly.

It is a monster big world.

Snow texture looks a bit shitty still.

I have low settings....I have yet to change anything and see if its better or worse in the game.

I might try that next time to see if there is a difference.

It also could be the way the tile system works for ground cover in general.

I second the comment that the game has taken great strides since the kickstarter content was shown. Some of those pics are stunning, also great to hear there is no server lag, most pre alpha and even alpha games are dogs when it comes to lag.

Amazing landscape and views are astonishing. I'm still surprised how such a graphic quality can be delivered with 50 FPS'es. Really nice!

We'll see how well the servers handle lag when there's hundreds of people per server..
