Fix HP Laser Mouse 697738-001 Rev A LiF Freeze

My PS2 mouse was working fine. New USB laser mouse causes positional cursor freezing on equip item from pack. Keyboard works fine.

Did the mouse came with a driver? Did you install it?
If yes, try removing it and reboot and let Windows install a generic driver and see if it's better.
If not, try installing it.
