Yesterday I got some new hardware in my computer.
New motherboard, CPU and ram. And after that I haven´t been able to get the game running.

The game starts to load and i can her the intro sound but after that I don´t get any picture. And if I press Esc I get a green square on the top right 1/4 of the screen, And I guess its the game menu that pops up in the green 1/4. But the text is covered by small blue squares.

I have tried to reinstall the game. But the problem remains.

Does anyone have any ideas what to do?

Intel Core i7 6700K

Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4 PC21300/2666MHz CL16 2x8GB

Asus GeForce GTX 970 Strix

Chances are your PC lacks MS visual C++ redistributable package (I have it by default because I study Software Engineering in college).

Aside from that I also suggest you manually delete the LiF:YO folder form the steamapps/common, sometimes uninstalling doesnt delete all the files, after that verify cache in steam to reinstall it.

try removing everything of the game and if that doesent work,
there is a post about it on forum bhut currently to lazy/tired to look for ya

One guy managed to get the game to run after uninstalling Experience. But I don´´t even have that installed.

Will try to install some other drivers to se if that helps.

Reinstalling the new Nvidia drivers did not help

Turn off overlays and any applications that may block LiF.
