What would I need to make it?

• A Tanning Tub
• ...
• ... wheel-thingy for weaving the rope...
• ... Not sure about the rest...

how long does it take for the tub to get done with the flax? mine has been going on for 20 minutes now.. pretty redic considering it wont even be enough to make one rope

What do you mean you are using the Tanning Tub? I finally got the skills high enough and I have the loom and spinning wheel built, but i cant figure out how to turn the Flax Stems into fibers for the spinning wheel!

Any help would be much appreciated

edit: and I have tried using a Tanning tub, but all I can do with it is pick it up.

From what I have read, you need to soak the Flax Stems in the Tanning Tub.

Starting Tool: Weaver's Toolkit,
Skill: Procuration 60
Material: 5x Hank of Linen

Will result in 1 Linen Rope -)

Pretty sure I heard it was level 60 Procuration somewhere too.
But the skill's milestones suggest it is level 30.

It's what I got from that game-file analysation tool, haven't been able to test it myself due to the limitation of skillpoints even on my own server. Will give it a try soon

1. Procuration 60 to use tanning tub (place flax in tanning tub , takes 60 minutes) Multiple tubs recommended.

2. Gather wild plants will give you flax and flax seed. No need for 90 farming. I find this much more efficient for gathering flax then farming, but you can do both to maximize your flax intake.

3. Weavers toolkit 5x Hank of Linen. Each tanning tub with 10 flax will give 2 Hank of Linen.

That was the ticket, once I got 60 Procuration I was able to use the tub and then made some Hanks from it. Thank you very much, good sir!

10 flax stems, put in tanning tub for 1 hour ( lvl 60 required in procuration)
spinning wheel to turn flax fibers into hank of linen, weavers tool kit to turn into rope
45 flax stems will make 1 rope ,long story short
