crafted one but It says I cant use it? can anyone tell me why?

If I remember correctly, using a Furnace requires you to unlock Smelting, which requires a minimum of 30 mining. To get your smelting past 29.99, you need 60 mining.

However, there have been reports of problems with objects that require wood to light, so it could just be that.

My furnace uses wood like mad. I set the craft timer down to 4 seconds. Can make iron but you need about 10 wood billets to finish.

Hopefully will get tweaked soon.

P.s. Also tried increasing the timer. Gives you more time to gather the wood. But takes longer.
