I am returning to the game after about 6 months, I got an email about Open Beta, I bought one of the packages way back and went ahead and activated my subscription for 60 day premium thing. I am trying to login to patch the game and it keeps saying Failed to get characters on NA. I also noticed that NA area of the LiF website is down. Is the NA server not working now or is it not part of the beta test? I don't want to make a new char on the EU if NA is operational.

NA servers appear to be having issues. Others have posted similar issues. There has nothing been posted from the devs yet regarding ths issue.
