Hello, is Life is Feudal (closed alpha, and later)
a one time buy and play forever game, or do i need to buy a ticket every month/year?

At the moment it's closed alpha, word is though it'll come onto steam on early acess soon, sometime august/september, don't hold me to that though.
The idea is Lif-YO Will be one time buy, where as the MMO version will be a set amount for one character to move from a free zone sort of try before you buy area called the island, where buying Lif MMo will allow the player to go to the mainland.

It is more or less as said before here - but with the addition that you will have to buy a ticket for each character you want to transfer to the mainland.

So! ;

You download the game for Free, and test it for free on the starter Island - which is whiped every 24 hours or so.
Then you pay a one-time fee to get that char across to the mainland where you have full access to all options of the game - and can start to live and breathe your character
If you want another character as well, you will have to pay for a ticket for that one as well to get it from starter island to mainland. But might be there will be a slightly lower price for addditional character transfers - but this is not yet set in Stone.

You pay a one-time price to get the game in Its whole, and nothing more.

Do bare in mind that LiF:MMO and LiF:YO are two separate games, and it will involve 2 separate payments.
Bobik and team have hinted that you might get a discount buying one if you already own the other - but this has not been decided on yet. At least not to my knowledge
