Marking as a Trespasser

What is your guys opinion on the fact that marking someone as a trespasser only lasts 20 seconds, with a cooldown of 30 seconds.

This means you need to constantly use trespasser to prevent yourself from becoming a criminal yourself and lose alignment for killing the offender.

In my opinion someone caught trespassing should be a criminal for about 5 minutes, so you have the time to defend your claim and kill him.

That would be way too OP as someone can accidentally walk into someone's claim only to get ganked by someone who hides in the bushes waiting for the trespasser to show up.

With F4 and Ctrl F4 it's extremely easy to see where claims are.
In my opinion it's your responsibility as a player to not wander on a strangers claim, if you trespass on their claim, it's your own fault for being tagged as a criminal.

Maybe 5 minutes is a too long time, but 20 is extremely short.

then yes, it may last minutes, not seconds... at least if he leaves yours but is heading to another one, a weaker one....

My bad I didn't know it differs whether the trespasser is in combat stance or not. If you're not in combat it only lasts a mere 20 second, in combat stance 5 minutes..

The tag also stacks, so if you stay in a claim for a short bit and get tagged lots of times, you will be a criminal for half an hour easily.

seconds is indeed to short i'd go for 1 or 2mins, bhut being abel to stack it up to 30mins.... i think thats the opposite of to short
