Currently, at the moment, unless you start a character with Warhorse Handling at 60 you're unable to use Mail(e) armors. So until the skill War Horse Handling is corrected, I recommend moving it to where Unarmed Combat is at and allow it to be ranked in the Militia Branch going to Polearms.

Also for "Historical" use, Chainmail doesn't exist. It was just "Maile" Chainmail is a modern term to describe it, it wasn't called that in the past, and was coined by an idiot by the name of Walter Scott (Sir).

It was either a Mail, Maille, or Meile in Middle English. Sir Walter Scott being the idiot that he was, got people using the term Chainmail and even had people thinking that they used "Cranes" to get people on their Horses in Full Harness because they were so heavy (He coined that they were around 80-90 lbs to 100 lbs) when in reality they never exceeded 60 lbs and most expertly crafted sets were usually around 55-53 lbs and the users were even trained to run and mount a horse in full plate harness.
