New interface

Post by Frawr » 17 Nov 2015, 21:14

Hi,

Is there a way to shrink the interface?

I hate my first post on these forums to be negative, but, I find the new 'big block' interface to be rather... 'in your face'.

I would love to be able to shrink it back down to the size of the previous interface. I find the menus and bars now to be simply too large.

I have attempted to use the F10 menu to shrink them but it seems as though this new style is the minimum size that I can obtain.

I welcome any suggestions to reduce the size of menus such as health bars and the action menu etc (boxes, icons and text).

Thanks

If you hit F10 the UI editor will display.

Agreed. The new UI seems made for somebody who needs large print to see anything. And the skill tree... While I am sure it is nice, it takes up the entire screen now. Much happier with the smaller versions of everything we had previously.

And I can no longer resize the game window. =/

new interface is quite ugly for some parts :( and we can delette some windows (alignement, messages).

My solution is (each time unfornatly) to put them at opacity 0%.

I just realized I didn't really answer your question. I went in and seems you can't resize the action bar but you can change how it stacks which helps a little bit. I do hope they offer a UI scaling option down the road. I prefer all my things very small.

Yeah I hope so too. I do expect that it will improve. I am just surprised that they changed it as it feels like a bit of a step backwards.

I can change mine but you do have to play with it. after clicking on a box edge and making the bars fatter it will eventually give you a diagonal cursor on a corner to make the box smaller. The only box I cannot do this with is equipment.

It seems that every window is now bigger, and while the message box is nice it does not remember resizing it.

A lot of new clutter added to the screen. =(
