Make the lore dynamic and visible.

I would love to see players get involved with the lore, it would really bring some depth to it.
Like the newb island could be FIRST LANDING, and missions revolve around exploring the new land and gathering resources, to familiarize players with the game.

World events and other aspects of the game could also be heavily influenced by lore, that would make a really immersible experience i think.

i agree to a certain extent it would be nice to have a bit of a story but too much would make the point of the game mute (so far as i understand it). however if you want missions/quests perhaps the devs could make missions/quests so that you have to attack enemies or form alliances will other guilds. that could also be part of the tutorial to introduce new players to the guild system
