Like the title, LiF won't recognize my card. The dropdown menu only has dedicated. That said, I have selected it in NVidia control panel, and restarted the computer, in hopes that would make it work.

Ironically, at the same time, Skyrim sees my card. WHAT IS UP?

Same here. Its the only game who doesnt recognize my GeForce, and play with the Intel 4000 ir ugly as hell

Question: Are you using laptops?

I also have same problem on gaming laptop. It says in game that it's using integrated graphic but in fact it's using you geforce card. Those gaming laptops have software that run better video card when needed. That's at least a theory...

Okay, so from what I know there are a lot of laptops that have integrated (weak, Intel) cards and discrete (Powerful AMD or Nvidia) cards.

In order to force discrete video card there should be:

1. Profile of our game added to their drivers (aka we have to beg Nvidia/AMD to add us) that is why Skyrim have that profile, while indie games don't.
2. Settings in Control Panel (Nvidia control panel/Catalyst). Sometime they work and you can FORCE certain application to be rendered by a proper card
3. Powersave mode off. So laptop sees that there is no need to save power and launches discrete video card
4. Some bios tweaks and other hardcore

So far we can't do anything with that so users should do that themselves, and there were some who succeeded, though I can't find these threads right now.

My started working when I downloaded all additional software from producer site (I have MSI GT60). So that's should be first step before tweaking BIOS ;p
