How open is SSR to having minor sub guilds?

Very. We're designed to support that system at our core. How it works is that your leadership pledges fealty to the Republic and in turn we grant you a seat on the Senate for you to chose your Senator as you see fit. Your members can also run for and vote in the general at-large Senator positions as well.

Our overall structure already has Great Houses, which are SSR members that are also part of sub-groups to help further organize and generate a deeper culture in the Republic.

We had a pretty awesome event yesterday. We confirmed Demiwar as our Minister of Commerce and then did some initial instruction for our military. Screenshots to follow.

As the new Minister of Commerce for the Silver Sun Republic, it is with great pride I announce we have introduced a coin based currency system within our community in order to promote trade and economic development throughout our lands. This coin system is managed with a close eye by the Ministry of Commerce to ensure a proper balance of scarcity and presence within the economy. This will not be managed like a typical MMO currency, rather there is a finite supply available that will be increased or destroyed based on major population changes and changes hands by player interaction. I am retired military (Navy) and a past UO player.

This game is in a way familiar but still a brand new experience. I just got it last night and dabbled around with it.
I am looking for a guild to call home and to start leaving a mark in the community.

RP Event this Thursday evening around 7 PM CST as we name our Bishop, Azerath and continue to announce more plans.

Our currency system is turning out to be an amazing step in creating a legitimate economy. The massive influx of new members has challenged our leadership team, but I would say they're doing an awesome job of keeping us moving in the right direction.

I believe the biggest nod to our success are the constant PMs on our forums that I get from new members thanking us for creating a community that works and adds depth to the game rather than taking away from it.
