Here's my problem. Our village is isolated from people, we have basic pitchforks but we've been since raided almost daily by people decked out in full armor/weapons, meaning we'll stand no chance in an actual fight. Even with us finishing a wooden palisade (stone walls are out of reach due to a lack of flux/resources due to being raided), one guy just put a log in the air and jumped over. The other time they jumped from the hill on one of our sides onto the head of another and jumped over (this can be mitigated by us though by terraforming, we're working on it). We have thus decided to make a moat (really an open mine done by digging) right at the palisade since you cannot float logs on top of 'mines'. We do run into problems with unmovable terrain, but we're working on this still.
Are there any other solutions available to us to protect our goods? We have started using mules to hold our valuables, which seems to be the safest thing right now. I am not sure if a 'house' with lock modules is in game yet to protect us even more. We've honestly just resorted to logging off our main characters when raiders come at this point. There's zero benefit to us sticking around.
