How to increase the performance?

Post by FileXxX » 30 Sep 2014, 12:41

Is there a way to get more frames per second? No matter how many settings I try, it stays at 20 frames per second, maybe a little more. No grass, no tree details, no object details, NOTHING.

Any steam start parameters or something?

what are your specs? i think the game is a bit poorly optimized at the moment..

are all your cpu cores enabled permanently? windows (especially win7) doesn't do this by default i believe. if not search 'enable parked cpu cores' in google. for me this made the framerate of all games a tad bit higher and more stable

a question of my own, anyone know if/where we can alter the GPU max. buffered frames setting for LiF?

Thanks, I tried unparking them all (3 were parked). Not sure if the performance is better.

Uncheck the auto-optimization option in the video settings.

Also, decrease trees to 1.

It's off, just like everything else. Trees, objects, grass, render distance, EVERYTHING! But I feel like it depends on the server. Public servers are fine, but my own? Hell no!

I think there are processes used to note everything happening in order to catch bug that could make the game run slow... Just a theory.
