I saw in the videos you place objects by buttons specifying rotations along x-y-z axises.
It would be less complicated if you would use a more realistic, and easy way:
Place one end, then place the other end, then rotate freely, then set it down.
So in the case of a log, place one end, and then the other, like in real life, skipping the next phases - in the case of a window, door (if you have such more complicated objects) you can fine tune it.
Faster and simpler, I think.
