I have constructed a small wooden house. It was supposed to be a home for 3 people but only 1 can claim it and only 1 can even set it as home once he has claimed it. Other can’t open door, can't claim it, nothing, because they can’t do anything with that object once right clicking on it.

Was it supposed to work like that?

It will be fixed soon, but you need to unclaim it, have your friends all name it as their home, then claim it again. It will be set as everybodies home, although only one may open the door.

But still, if only one player can open the door, then Small wooden house is only really practical for that player. The only benefit this house has is ''unlimited'' storage capacity, as far as I see it.

Is that planned to stay like that or will more players be able to open doors?

Once claim system is fully implemented access to objects, including houses etc will be sharable. That means owner will be able to give permissions to other players to use these objects.
