Hey guys,
playing LiF: YO for some time now and something bothers me the whole time.
It is not gamebreaking or critical but breaks the immersion.
If we say we use the "Forge and Anvil" the player character stands near the object and now forges some tools, he will do it standing there were he was, not really using the anvil for this.
Now if we take a look at the "Forge and Anvil" model itself, it may could be changed, so that the player character really uses the anvil:
If your 3D Artist creates one more bone in front of the Anvil, which will be used to "snap" the player character into place as soons as he uses the forge, you could lock the animation in direction and rotation given from the bone, so that the animation of the character and the model of the anvil match.
I really hope this wasn't suggested before and then rejected, so that I do not make a total fool of myself.
I searched for this in the threads, but couldn't find something similiar.
I am from Lübeck, Germany so english isn't my first language, I hope I did not make too many mistakes and everybody can understand what I tried to explain.
Greetings,
