Need Help For my Lan Server

Post by DArk3MO » 27 Oct 2014, 17:51

My little Brother and i want to play in Lan only so we have following problem: The Threes don´t Grow up.

Server Setting is the following:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="true"?>

-<config>

<ID>5</ID>

<name>3MO´s Home</name>

<password>dnawar</password>

<adminPassword>TomHerzog1611</adminPassword>

<mode>Permanent Death Sandbox</mode>

<isPrivate>0</isPrivate>

<isActive>1</isActive>

<skillsStatsMult>1</skillsStatsMult>

<skillcap>3000</skillcap>

<terraformingSpeed>1</terraformingSpeed>

<craftingPeriod>60</craftingPeriod>

<animalBFPeriod>60</animalBFPeriod>

<dayCycle>2</dayCycle>

<animalsCount>100</animalsCount>

<maxPlayers>10</maxPlayers>

<port>28000</port>

</config>

We Close the Server, Cause it´s a only lan server, every time we stop playing.

My Questions, cause I wan´t it really play in Lan mode with my Brother:
1st. Is there A way to Grow up Trees Faster?
2nd. Is there a way to place threes via gm Commands?

Thx all for Help

Trees tend to grow slowly anyway. With your dayCycle set at 2, it'll take 8 hours before any growth cycle actually happens, and trees need a LOT of growth cycles before they actually grow. I don't know the actual numbers for them, but I know it's a lot.

Also, with your dayCycle at 2, farming crops will tend to ripen at about the 16 hour mark, and wither and die at about the 18 or 20 hour mark. This isn't exactly an easy timeframe to work with for farming.

On my personal server, I set the dayCycle to 0.5, trees grow up to full adult size within a real-time week (even oaks) and crops take 4 hours to grow (5 to decay)

Hope that helps!
