Some ideas for more medival feeling... and realism

Post by Rabenstein » 14 Nov 2014, 00:43

So how about to let characters get old, and die some day, if they do not so on the battlefield, or by desease? Give them a birthday, an age of beeing able to do something in the world (like 15 or something, in the medieval time, men and women have to get adult very fast, and they have to carry some responsibility for their family, and so on.)
Maybe as a kind of "hardcore"-setting in options...And how about marriages?
And: maybe some kind of social standing on birth?
This can give some roleplaying-spice to this already very fascinating game :good:
These are only a few ideas... but I dont know, how dificult it is to implement this...

Edit 1 sorry for my bad english :)
Edit 2 and no, i dont want LiF: The Sims ;)

Would be weird if everyone died at 60.

What I would like to see thought, is a new feature for hardcore mode. After your character die, instead of creating a new one from scratch you could play the son or daughter of your character. The familly name would remain the same, and your new character would inherit a small fraction of the skills of your old one.
