I've been stuck installing Microsoft Redlist VC ++ Package for a week now. I've tried verifying game cache files, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, updating drivers, running Steam as an admin... Nothing is working.
No solution in the forum community on Steam has worked and I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem or if anyone has another idea because I'm at my wit's end right now.

Got the solution from the guys on my server:
"Yes, I was told by Steam to try to delete the folder "Appcache" found in my computer on C:/Programfiles (x86)/steam/appcache. Just deleted it and restarted computer, and then game started again."
Totally worked, no hassle. For some reason I could not just delete the appcache folder and I had to go into it and delete each individual folder/application, but it worked.
