Post by Vision81 » 09 Jun 2015, 17:44

Hello everyone.
i was Reading something about the ingame chat here
http://lifeisfeudal.gamepedia.com/Chat
and i found out that you could get your global chat in IRC client

i did install a irc client but when i log in on https://lifeisfeudal.com/
i cant see my character.

Has anyone got this to work?

thank you

Bump.

Same problem. I have server and I'd like to keep an eye on global chat when I'm not in game.

IRC Connection is refused. I guess I need valid server password or something. Can anyone specify, where I can find my server's password for IRC? Thanks!

So devs are not even watching own forums?

You can't see your character, because your website account contains only the information about MMO characters, and this particular chat function was available in MMO during the alpha tests.

IRC is offline for now. It served as a communication channel between developers and the alpha testers during scheduled alpha tests of the MMO. Whether it will be available during next part of tests or not, that is unknown at the moment.

I'm sure game(YO) uses IRC for ingame communication. So there is no way to connect to it? It's obvious that there is something at IRC port, because it actively refuses my requests to join to it.

Thanks!

As I explained, this particular chat function works/will work only in MMO.
