Hello LiF-Community.

I've bought LiF:YO recently but didn't get it to start properly.

When I start the game all i hear is the voice of the narrator and then see this screen:



I tried already to:

- reinstall the game
-check for corrupted files
- Install DirectX 9
- use the dx9-legacy built on steam (WORKED)
- move the game from the SSD to the HDD

My PC Specs (Self built):

-intel core i5 6600k @3.5GHz (OC @4.5GHz)
-Asus ROG Maximus VIII Hero
-Kingston Hyper X DIMM 16GB DDR4-2666 Kit
-Samsung MZ75E250B 250GB SSD
-Alpenföhn Brocken 2
-530 Watt be quiet! Pure Power L8 CM Modular 80+
-2TB seagate HDD (old and no specific information afaik)

they know about it,
not sure if they know the reason bhut just hope its fixed whit next patch, no idea when bhut could be next week

Found a solution:

I read on another forum that the bug is caused by other programs with an overlay so I turned off every possible program and it worked! After a bit of more testing I finally found the program that was causing the problem: Sonic Studio. The program has kind of an overlay so yeah, thats it. An overlay.

my friend has this bug also, he tryd everything and indeed for some it works to turn of overlay for others it doesent
(overlays, teamspeak, mumble, steam...)
