Judgment hour

Hello!

I love this game and it's really good but the idea behind the judgment hour is not bad but it has one problem. I get the idea behind the game is that it's like real life. But opening doors on judgment hour is not exactly real no castle,wall even wooden door woudn't open for someone just for nothing. So I hope you the developer if you read this do change the judgment hour that they can't open the door for anybody exept for guild members. It would be awesome to defend it normaly and not that they run through us and go in or dig under the wall( i don't understand why then to have the monument if they can dig under and put some logn in and it stays open for ever the wall doesn't colaps on the tunnel nothing. One more thing like I said the run through us to the chest take stuff and log off and they spawn when there friends say that we are not online so he can tp home. I really hope that you think this over and try to change something about this because it is really hard to stop raids if we don't have a chance.

agreed,

even during jh only guild members should be allowd to be abel to open gates bhut not some random player,

there should be things that can be locked, if u make a lock for it while crafting it it should mean it has a lock.

The one who came up with judgment hour really made the game in this aspect feel unrealistic. Instead, like another guy mentioned there should be a "thievery" career where you an unlock certain locks after a certain level, the better the lock the more level he'll have to have and it can be conditioned on other things like a thieve's reputation like if he gets caught stealing things his reputation goes down and he can't pick locks until it's up again. I don't like the "claim" things because it doesn't add realism to the game and it takes away from being immersed into the world but these things could work, just get chests and say a level 100 can create a lock that isn't pickable. That way one end can feel secure while also not having to create a fake judgment hour aspect.

Wait... other people can open the gates to a settlement during JH? So, what's the point of having walls then?

By default, other people can't open gates (wooden gates or castle or stone gates) during JH. They can open house doors but the server admins can toggle which things people can do on JH. (There is a guide on the wiki)

standerd settings a gate needs a personal claim, that way even dureing jh a gate can not be opend bye a other player (this trick doesent works for houses or anything eals, just on gates)

Nope, with standard settings, gates can not be opened by people outside your guild. Even without a personal claim. Try it on your server. And as I said, admins can toggle settings to lock house doors also during JH. But then there is no way to open them during JH just destroying the whole house.

we test it daily, daily jh on my server
no i did not tweak the setting (wouldent even know how to do that)
