Another interview with Bobik (21.04.2016)

Post by Arrakis » 22 Apr 2016, 22:34

Not long ago, another interview with our lead developer, Bobik, emerged on youtube from a russian channel 'Gamanoid TV'. There might be few things that you might have not know about - few funny facts and more. Enjoy! ;)

(If you don't speak Russian, skip to 0:41)

Haha, hilarious interview and great new information.

A roguelike?
Can I ask that you guys put an easter egg in?

There must be a part of the game where you need to contact customer support with shit falling down the walls, and if you can't fix your problem before it drowns you, well... you drown to death.

A roguelike ? Interesting ! I just hope it doesn't divert even more ressources away from LiF MMO.. no offense, but it's not like you guys are done adding all the planned features and polishing everything. I guess we'll see :)

I am very excited for the start of closed beta of course !

It was very interesting overall, it wasn't really an interview where they answered a lot of questions about the future but rather made a summary of the studio and the game's history so far :) That was needed for all the old and new players who don't know anything about the team !

Also.. 10k players ? Seems like a lot. I hope you guys have a way to very efficiently divert resources from a server node to another, because I'm afraid a lot of server nodes will have no population and others will be completely overcrowded. And it's not like you guys can slow down time like Eve does so let's hope you have a solution for this which doesn't include blocking the node !

Always nice to get some new infos.

I really hope this roguelike doesnt delay the MMO release in any way. Would be a bad decision if it did imo.
I guess Bitbox need some more funds. Cant really imagine another reason for making a spinoff game mid-MMO-development...

Take your speculation elsewhere. They are a growing team, working on projects.

He has every right to speculate. We have seen how many games with amazing potential ruined by poor project management? Too many to list here. I am extremely skeptical hearing this as well. They have not been very impressive on project management to date and this is a huge red flag to me. I love Life is Feudal and am really looking forward to the MMO. Heres to hoping my gut is wrong and the MMO has all the support it needs!
