You previously said there would be a restart for each wave now your saying this:

P.S. We are going to make a backup of the current state of the world, so Closed Beta Testers should not worry about their Monuments decay, farm animals dying of starvation or crops rotting. Next test run will be started from this backup.

That gives an unfair advantage to the previous players. Is there going to be a restart after Wave 2 which ill be part of?

Wave#1 will be wiped at the end, but at the December 28th shutdown of the servers the wave was not over yet, hence there was no need for a wipe.

The devs simply needed time to fix the issues that they found which as explained in the MMO tests FAQ relate to problems caused by the limitations of a 32-bit client. Since they have to finish rewriting the client to 64-bit and test it internally, they had to take a break from running the server, before resuming Wave#1.

Mostly it does clear up things. Thanks. Just one of the many that can hardly wait to dive in and see large scale battles and hopefully bustling villages of real people.
