Changing Field of View Value in Prefs.cs

Heya, I've been playing around with the field of view values in prefs.cs, but I don't see any change in game.

$Pref::player::CurrentFOV = 37.5;
$pref::Player::defaultFov = 75;

These are the two standard values, I don't get any results changing them though.

Anyone got a tip?

The FOV one def changes stuff, i changed mine and it changes things. you mainly notice it on the edge where the image warps with the fisheye effect the larger the view. it doesnt do a good job of compensating
