Hi All,

Just got the game and seem to have some problems. I am not oo computer savy so I was hoping to find some help here.
Below is a screenshot of the screen I get when I try to open the game.

How long did you wait? What are you rig specs? Need a little more info to help on this. That pic is standard and takes a few minutes to load to the startup screen.

I waited a good 5-7 minutes....

and This pc is slightly older, but Its the only one I have currently.

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 3200+ 2.20 GHz
2GB RAM
I have Windows Vista 32bit.... blah.
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200.

I'm going to bump this to see if anyone else can help, but as I see it it MIGHT be an equipment problem. I have:

i5 4770K OCed to 4.2GHz
16 Gb RAM
nVidia GTX 770
Windows 7 64 bit
(which reminds me, I have to change my sig when I get home.)

...and I have trouble with max settings on some servers. With that system being as old as it is, you just may not have the juice to run an alpha (i.e. not optimized.).

Also, don't assume that all alphas and betas are the same. Lately, big companies have been putting the tag "alpha" or "beta" on demos. They have been optimized and are usually 80% complete, but it pays to do some bug hunting on a massive scale. This is a REAL alpha. Optimization will be minimal until late beta.

Indeed, you need minimum of 4 GB to run our game, and recommended is 8.

I´ve got exactly the same problem, with the gray screen and all, i still hear music but thats about it ,all is grey/lightish blue. tried almost everything doesent seems alot of ppl have this problem

for the record im on a laptop geforce 650 gt with 6 gb RAM
win 7
any help would be appreciated

you mean i`ve installed wrong windows ( recently rebooted ) ?

sry i am kinda noob when it comes to computers


edit: just looked i have a 64bit version so how do i then start the game in 64 mode?

Start with the simple stuff first, make sure you're using the latest video/sound/chipset drivers for your rig.

If the game is white screen / grey screen on start up it's simply not initializing correctly.

Go to your task manager, click LIF, hit close task.

It will then make the screen viewable because the game see's you're attempting to close and refreshes when the "Are you sure" is displayed.

Let me know if it works.

I having the same problem, my PC is an AMD 8350 4.0 ghz, r9 x280 3gb Vram, 8gb ram, win7 64bits...as you can see isnt hardware problem...plz someone help, i didnt find any aswer

Hello Guys,

I recently bought this game and having a same problem.

My game starts windowed. Gray Screen but the sound of Sean Bean is coming and after 20 seconds it crashes.

I have i7 Intel - 16gb Ram - 128 gb ssd and a pretty old but enough graphics card ati radeon 4800 hd ddr5 1024mb cache.

Any solution for this kind of a problem.. I've been looking over the internet for 2 days yet no result.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
