Punishments

I've given this more thought, iif a man is captured and found guilty of a crime, he could choose the punishment which does a small amount of damage to his stats depending on what it is. Or he could try and escape and probably get killed, making a far larger hit on his stats.

Comment some ideas of punishments to deliver minor stat reduction. :D

Guilty of a crime? Sounds like pure roleplaying stuff... I don't know how you could add game mechanics to it and if you should do it at all...

Handcuffs and shackles or something, the ability to drag people along after apprehending them.

how to become criminal:
-you are killing people and taking their stuff
-you are scout/spy of enemy guild
-you are raiding trade posts
you find guy that is evil(low alignment) and you kill him. why would we help someone who is bad?

and i think that developers should add new weapon
executioner´s sword(two handed, without point)if you will be killed with it, it would do increased damage to your skills

because forgetting how to make table, because you used to be bandit, that seems odd :no:

I think the punishment is a great idea.

If you are knocked out the player has the option to drag you to their court house and put you on trial, or do kind of what arche age does, if you die you are placed on trial and the community gets a chance to vote your punishment. Make Authority or Piety the skill required to vote on someone's punishment.

The idea sounds cool, but whos to say the offender won't log out and switch servers?

Still thought the construction of a jailhouse or dungeon (more fitting to the era) would seem cool. And having a courthouse with executions area nearby would be immersive

What says the person wont come kill you a few times and log out anyway?
