The War Scythe is THE Militia weapon. Crafted from actual scythes in many cases.

There is only one other real militia weapon anyway in the game (Pitchfork)
Why is the War Scythe not another one?
And why is it so useful (as far as I read, not sure if it has changed)?

yep, and it could be used to recolt faster our crops, like 3 tile around the character per action... a real weapon/tool
