So far I've played on three Official servers - 10, 16 and 34.
At some point, after like hour of playing, I get a server timeout and after I start game again I don't see them in a list anymore?
Are they really all down and me just being unlucky?

Exactly same happened to me. Without character consistency, the in my opinion the game is useless..
