Server migration version 1.0.6.3 --> 1.1.0.1

Hi,

are there any news on this? When will there be a migration available for the servers? Currently we have a few players that left already for version 1.1.0.1 tired to wait and most of them are afraid that there is going to be a need to wipe.

A clear commitment if a wipe is required or a date as to when the migration would be deeply appreciated to alleviate the fears and plan our servers.

the patch will come live very soon, finally there are not so much bugs

Ok, would be nice to know, it was announced on the main website on the 8th of April "next week" that it would come, 7 days later still nothing.

I am just worrying that we will keep bleeding our playerbase.

True that, info about the planned migration ways would be really appreciated, will skills be reseted, will everything, or maybe there is a procedure to exchange skills to the new systems...?

Hi,

any official reply from the developers, we are currently at T+3 days at the official deadline given on the main forum.

I am sorry if I insist, but even a "sorry been postponed for 1 month due to technical difficulties" would suffice, then people can take decision if to wipe and install 1.1.0.1 or wait 1 month.

I know from Bobik that they are working very hard on a "soft" transition that will not involve re-creating characters or wiping anything. And before you ask, I don't know more than you guys do on when there will be the merge ;)

There will be one more beta patch before it will be transfered to release version. This upcoming patch will actually allow you to load your existing release branch worlds in the beta branch with proper skill conversion. ;)

the only thing is really needed for MMO - working chats/channels and pm system....
but fix this plz after(!) MMO cbt start.... :crazy:

I don't think I want anything for Guild or Kingdom channels either.

we upgraded to 1.1.0.3 with the patch, it seems to work, tabards however are not working properly.

seems u never tryed politics or really big war..... the main problem is communications btw different groups.
u cant be in the same time in 99 diff channels of vent+ts+rc+.....

yes, its not too realistic.... in feudal age ppl were unable to use TS or vent.....
but we already have a kind of magic - war cryes....

p.s. on advanced tailoring we should be able to craft "shapka-ushanka" out of bear fur =) imunne to warcryes =)))) :crazy:

IMO guild and nation chat are important and PMs are not.

Typically pms are used to trash talk the group leader while they're leading a raiding party... which is always hilarious to see... you are doing something right in a pvp game with pms if that happens. Idk I guess, mixed feelings on pms.

Where guild/nation chat are quick notifications to allys/friendlies of what's going on or to group up.

Both will very much be needed for quick communications to players in game.


As for global... no thanks.. even 100/10k~ is too spammy for my taste... I usually turn global chats off in the mmos I've played.(won't be in the mmo so yay)

No to Global Chat

Yes to Guild Chat
Yes to Claim Chat (local doesn't go far enough when I want to ask if I can come inside someone's walls)
Kingdom Chat...maybe...I dunno

p.s. It's been yet another week and I have yet to hear a peep from the dev team, are they still working on the same bugs??

I do believe a new bug was discovered this weekend where the gate house would crash the server if it killed someone so they are probably working on that if they haven't already fixed it.

Tabard bug update

So we figured out the following, if you have an existing claim after the upgrade in order to get the tabards to work, you need to create a new character, destroy the old claim, rebuild it and then create the tabard. Without that the table "heraldry" is not populated.

Yes, that is exactly what we did, the solution to it was create a new character, create a new claim and it worked then.
