Hey folks. I'm trying to change the base cooking speed on my server but can't find the variables. Now, I can find the variable for the cooking SKILL speed. What I'm trying to change is the speed at which you can say cook fried beast over a campfire. It's obscenely long, even with a farming skill of 100. Can anyone point me at that variable?

I don't know about the variable, but cooking usually takes obscene long if you have no cooking pot (tool) eqipped.

i felt the exact same way as you till i found out that if you craft a cooking pot (even a primitive one) cooking only takes a few seconds.
