Snare Traps

I have 10fiber...and 2 sticks and 1 apple....but when i try to lay the snare nothing is placed...what am i doing wrong. I have 100 fishing/hunting. PLEASE HELP!!

You need to craft a snare first, rightclick on the branch and under the fishing hunting there is a thing called create a snare.
Choose it and build a snare.
Not you can place it the way you tried before.

They are not. Tough its really wierd, they really should be reusable. Its a pain in the ass to make new ones all the time. Let them have durability is my suggestion.

They are reusable, but only until they catch something.

That is basicly what i was reffering to, reusable after you have catched somethinh, really makes no sence to make new ones each and evry time. Real trap lines are usable for years.

They should add a new recipe.
After collecting the "Full" snare give an unbaited version. Then with that and an apple craft another normal snare.

Having to rebait the trap with apple or other bait rather than having to make a new one would be a better solution imo.

I agree with IzznO, seems like they should be reusable (even after catching something). Maybe they take a big hit to durability? Maybe they need repaired before reusing?
