Top quality oak an unbalanced resource?

I'm fine with better trees taking higher skill to plant and giving more wood and branches. I'm currently waiting for my small crop of 100 quality oaks to mature. I was given 10 almost as a 'hello nice to meet you gift' from a friendly local clan. Seemed extravagant at the time but I understand they give 16 sprouts per day and if you're multiplying your forest even from one oak that's huge exponential growth. My point is that once someone somewhere achieves the top best tree its like the damn breaks and the world can get flooded with what should be scarce resource. Kinda makes any other hardwood of any other quality pointless past a certain maturity in the economy. The only friction slowing it down is the long grow time.

My fix would be to reverse the sprout count. Many for low quality, few for high quality. I think it would also be nice to have a 10% variability picking sprouts from the forester's skill base. -8% to +2% or something.
